Javea fue la tierra que me vio nacer. Aquí crecí, entre el mar y la montaña, junto a naranjos y pinos, rodeado de gente amable. Recuerdo que me gustaba jugar en las faldas del Montgó y junto a mi hermano montaba cabañas, que aunque no eran más que un montón de ramas y maderas, a mi me fascinaban.

Pues bien, parece que con el tiempo decidí hacer de mi afición mi profesión. Estudié arquitectura en Londres y Barcelona, y tras terminar mis estudios, realicé un Máster en Vivienda Colectiva en Madrid. Fui investigador para la Fundación Rafael Escolá, donde realicé la investigación que ha sido publicada como “La piel de los edificios: reacción e interacción favorable”. En Madrid inicié mis estudios de doctorado, y tras superar el periodo de docencia decidí terminar mi tesis doctoral y asentarme en Jávea, lugar donde la magia no termina.

Me interesa lo personal, el detalle. Ejerzo mi actividad profesional de forma liberal, con un equipo multidisciplinar, desde un punto de vista global hasta la obtención de una arquitectura singular, ad hoc.

Comprometido con el medio ambiente, actualmente me encuentro investigando en el campo de la sostenibilidad y la arquitectura bioclimática.

Como cuando era pequeño, sigo pensando que el hogar (o las cabañas), son el refugio más importante del hombre, después del vientre materno, y a ello dedico todo mi esfuerzo, a crear lugares que emocionen y que como en Jávea, nunca se termine la magia.

Javea was the place where I born. Here I grew up, between sea and mountains, with orange and pine trees, surrounded by friendly people. I perfectly remember that I loved playing on the slopes of Montgo and with my brother we used to build cabins, which without being nothing but a heap of sticks and timber, they fascinated me.

Well, it appears that over time I decided to make my hobby my profession. I studied architecture in London and Barcelona, and after finishing my studies, I completed a Master of Collective Housing in Madrid. I was researcher for the Foundation Rafael Escola, where I conducted a research that has been published as “The skin of the buildings: reaction and interaction pro.” In Madrid I began my PhD studies, and after passing the teaching period I decided to finish my dissertation and settle down in Javea, the place where the magic never ends.

Personally I am interested in customized things, in the detail. I practice my profession with a multidisciplinar team, from a global point of view to obtaining a singular architecture, ad hoc. Committed to the environment I’m currently researching in the field of sustainability and bioclimatic architecture.

Like when I was child, I still think that homes (or cabanas), are the most important refuge of man, after the mother womb, so nowadays I dedicate all my efforts to create places that excite, and as in Javea, ever end magic.
